We are Tone and Christa ter Welle and we live in a house with a large garden within a short range of a forest. We have three American Bulldogs (type Bully). Furthermore we have an old American Stafford and two young French Bulldogs.

For us the love for American Bulldogs began in 1993 and since 1995 we are the proud owners of this race.

The wish to breed this race began a long time ago and we have thought about this carefully because it is not something you just do! You have to prepare for this and of course you need to have qualified dogs to do so.

Our first American Bulldogs were not qualified because of their health but, our current dogs luckily are. All three are qualified in terms of health and meet the current demands extensively. Besides, they have good qualities of character. Furthermore they have brought out on a show at least once and have all won prices. So they have all been approved by an examiner. What of course does count in the qualification in terms of breeding.

At last we have began our plans:

Breeding American Bulldogs in a domestic environment on a modest scale.

The puppies are born in a domestic environment in which a lot of attention is given to the socialization (sounds, cats, children, traffic, etc.). We will remain to breed on a small scale because we do not attend to replace any of our dogs to make room for new blood lines. This is a personal choice and it is not to criticize breeders who do so!

The welfare of our dogs comes first, then the rest!
